About Us
MTP Drivetrain Services, LLC, established in 2004, re-manufactures both domestic and import diesel engines for Military Vehicle Applications as well as commercial applications. Our military vehicle parts and surplus parts list includes manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and General Motors, transmissions, transfer cases, axles and drivelines, and fuel systems. By combining all our in-house capability, MTP Drivetrain Services can offer to configure power packs at our customer’s request. All re-manufactured engines and transmissions are tested with a dynamometer. We do this to test the torque and power that is required to guarantee high performance military vehicles.
We are a member of the The Joe Gear Companies, a family investment and management company with a mission to glorify God by serving our clients, providing opportunities for our staff, and improving our communities. We work closely with our sister companies Consolidated Truck Parts & Service, with locations in Monroe, Alexandria, and Many, LA, as well as Renew Truck in Texarkana.
Our main production facility and home office are located in a 90,000 square foot multi-building complex that is situated on a 25 acre site at 205 MacDonald Drive in Many, Louisiana. To accommodate the growing demand of re-manufacturing parts and projects, we have additional storage facilities located in Many, Louisiana and Coushatta, Louisiana. Coushatta is about 50 miles north of Many. These facilities are mainly used to host small projects and subassembly work.
To ensure that we provide the level of customer service needed to compete in today’s market, we oversee our re-manufacturing operation as well as our military truck drivetrain assemblies and part sales. We are proud to have a strong, dedicated group, ready to commit to taking care of who matters most… You.
Our vision here at MTP Drivetrain Services is to maximize industry-leading technology and use best practices to deliver superior re-manufactured components. We also demonstrate our commitment to our customers by providing excellent and responsive support services. It is our goal to become the number one provider of re-manufacturing services for military tactical vehicles.
Most importantly, we take our motto “Battle Weary to Combat Ready”, very seriously. By providing the absolute best re-manufactured parts, we build credibility with and instill confidence in our clients.
Why You Should Do Business with MTP
MTP Drivetrain Services has over a decade of experience rebuilding the wide array of diesel engines found in military vehicles around the world. These include Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mercedes and General Motors. We are a licensed Allison transmission dealer and can rebuild Allison, General Motors, and other transmissions including manual transmissions which include Spicer, Caterpillar and Rockwell. We are also an approved distributor for many transfer case and axle manufacturers such as AxleTech, Meritor, Spicer, Eaton, Haldex, and Midland. This enables us to use OEM parts when we rebuild axles and driveline components.
Still having a hard time deciding? Here are a few things to consider:
No Charge for Onsite Installation
If a customer cannot install an order component for any reason, we will send one of our own technicians out to your place of operation and personally take care of the matter, free of charge.
Eliminated Expenses
MTP Drivetrain Services will pick up and deliver all major assemblies or reparable cores in compliance with a published schedule. By eliminating extra unwanted fees for our customers, we want to build relationships with customers that will last a lifetime.
Onsite Technical Support
Our technician can perform induction inspections, final inspections, diagnostics of engine and transmission failures utilizing Allison DOC software or Caterpillar CAT ET software, and perform manual troubleshooting of any tactical vehicle.
MTP Drivetrain Services was specifically founded in 2003 to serve the U.S. military by providing high-quality re-manufactured parts. Roughly 30% of our employees are military veterans. We value the lives of our men and women who sacrifice themselves to safeguard the United States of America and know our responsibility is to provide the best possible products available to protect them.
